Headlight Adjusters
Description
Designed these for a friend to save the $40+ that places charge for a set of new ones. They fit and work great on his 1982 VW rabbit pickup and will likely fit other MK1's as well. I only printed them using PLA which I'm sure will deform over time and would suggest PETG or ABS for longer term use. Designed to be installed with 1/8" pop rivets. We used 1/4-28 nuts because they fit the studs perfectly, but being that this is a Volkswagen I believe they should actually be M6x.75. The plugs go in after the nut is "pressed" in and held in with a drop of super glue. Supports are needed under the offset one. The spot at the top of the hex area bridges fine without supports, but requires a little cleanup after printing. Hope this helps people with the same issue as my buddy. Feel free to modify the design as you see fit.
Print Instructions
Standard FDM printing settings: - Layer height: 0.2mm - Infill: 70% - Supports: As needed
