Window Crank Knob
1996 Ford Ranger
Description
The window crank on my 1996 Ford Ranger was missing the knob so I tried to copy the original one from the passenger side and this is what I came up with. It works great! Saved me $15 from having to buy an aftermarket replacement. This may fit other Fords with a manual window crank as well. To install, slip onto the handle, then heat up and "mushroom" over the post from the backside, essentially "riveting" it into place whilst allowing it to rotate freely. As always, if you make one, all I ask is that you please share a photo or at least comment on how it worked for you!
Print Instructions
Standard FDM printing settings: - Layer height: 0.2mm - Infill: 70% - Supports: As needed
