Speaker Adapter Ring
2019 Mercedes Sprinter
Description
I made this adapter when I bought a set of Pioneer speakers to replace the crummy OEM speakers in my 2021 Sprinter van, and found that the adapter that came with the speakers did not fit the door mount on the van. This ring fastens directly to the door using the screws that attached the OEM speaker, and then the Pioneer 6.5" speaker attaches to the ring. To attach the Pioneer speakers to the adapter rings, I used the screws that came with the Pioneer speaker set (part #TS-A653CH, as shown here: https://www.bestbuy.com/product/pioneer-6-1-2-component-car-speakers-aramid-fiber-reinforced-impp-cone-pair-black/J3KVTTRQJX). I printed the adapter rings using PLA+; PETG would be even better but the PLA+ worked fine and the speakers are extremely solidly mounted. Print with 100% infill - no supports required when printing.
