6.5" Speaker Adapter

Description
Speaker adapter to fit 6.5" speakers into a Kia K5 and therefor most likely the Hyundai Sonata (might work with other Hyundai/Kia models, but no guarantees). Please, if you find that these work with other models, leave a note in the comments. This one is sized specifically for the Kenwood KFC-651. You should adapt the opening and screw holes according to your speaker's dimensions. I also included an SVG template for cutting gaskets to fit the front and back of the adapter. I cut them from craft foam sheets and glued them on. There is also a channel in the back to install 1/4" window sealing tape if you like. The hole in the base is to run the wire through. I originally bought a set of speaker adapters from an online stereo parts store. They sucked. They didn't seal to the speaker or car door. They made the woofers sound dead. These are a HUGE improvement. The speakers sound full and the bass is deep and detailed.

Printer Brand: Anycubic Printer: All-metal Mega Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 200 Infill: 40 Filament: Hatchbox ABS Notes: This was printed on an Anycubic Vyper, but that's not an option in the drop down menu.Use a denser than usual infill. These will need to withstand heat and you need something for the screws to bite into.This works best with ABS.
