Power Antenna Drain Fitting

<h2>Details</h2> <p>This is the drain fitting for Hirschmann power antennas used in European cars from the 1970s-80s (Mercedes, BMW, etc). It is used to funnel water that may seep past the radio antenna out of the car down a drain tube. The outer diameter of the tube fitting is 4mm which is made to work with the original drain tube. If the original drain tube is missing, use any tube with an inner diameter of 4mm. </p> <h2>Installation</h2> <p>Follow pictures for installation. The part fits snugly at the bottom of the power antenna housing. Apply a layer of silicone around the lip for a watertight seal.</p> <h2>Printing Instructions</h2> <p>DO NOT PRINT WITH PLA! Water may, over time, cause the PLA plastic to deteriorate. ABS or PETG is recommended for this part. Print with the tube fitting parallel with the build plate, as shown in the photos. Do NOT use supports inside the tube fitting. Tree supports are recommended (touching build plate only).</p> <h2>Application</h2> <p>This part will fit the following cars:</p> <ul> <li>Mercedes r107 (450 SL/SLC).</li> <li>Mercedes w123.</li> <li>Mercedes w116.</li> <li>Any car with the Hirschmann model 6000H 485 power antenna</li> </ul>
