Description
Tweeter pods for BMW E30 3D printed speaker mount door build upgrade Most E30s have tweeter wiring already fitted, the wires run from behind the door card into the footwell behind the main speakers. 3D printed using black ABS. I have found them very difficult to print as they warp a lot. May work with PLA but PLA can melt in a car on a hot day. Doesn't have pins on the back for mounting like the original trim. Can be mounted either by snapping the pins off the old trim and gluing them to the printed part or by gluing the printed part directly to the door. 42mm hole is good for Alpine DDT-S30 speakers 34mm hole is good for Ground Zero GZHT 19x speakers You will need to measure your tweeters and pick an appropriate .stl file, the measurement in the file name is the inside diameter of the hole for the tweeter. I have also uploaded .step files for each part and a solidworks file so feel free to make changes if you need to.
