Description
Custom designed cabin / pollen filter retrofit frame for Mercedes W124 models. This project allows you to add a removable cabin air filter system to vehicles that originally do not have an effective pollen filter setup. The frame was designed by measuring the factory fresh air intake housing and modeled in CAD. It can be produced in two different ways: Laser cut from plexiglass / acrylic sheets 3D printed directly from the included STL file The filter media can be replaced easily by opening the frame and installing a new sheet material. You may use: Range hood / aspirator filter material HEPA sheet filter Activated carbon filter sheet Universal cabin filter media Features: Direct-fit style retrofit design Reusable frame, replaceable filter media STL file included for 3D printing Suitable for DIY enthusiasts Improves cabin air cleanliness Recommended Materials: PETG / ABS for heat resistance if 3D printing. PLA can deform in engine bay heat.
