Battery Hold Down Clamp
1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ
Description
If you ever need to replace your YJ battery, upgrade to a Group 65 - it fits perfectly in the existing tray. All you need is a longer hold down clamp unless yours is flat all the way across (mine had little L brackets welded on that would only fit the original battery width). I was going to just buy a generic one on Amazon but it seems that this size battery is not super common and the universal/adjustable ones just look dumb. Besides, you have a printer, why not just make your own for like $2? I printed this in PA6-CF because it's what I had on hand and I was worried about heat and chemical resistance. I imagine ABS/ASA would be fine as well. PETG might be okay but I imagine it would warp over time. Presumably this same clamp would work on other applications that use a group 65 battery (7.5" wide) and 1/4" hold down studs.
