Description
The 1994 and 1995 Mustangs have a center console with an ashtray instead of cupholders. A commercially-available cupholder is sold that snaps into the ashtray, but it is around $70. So, I modeled up one. This allows you to have an extra pair of cupholders while keeping your car stock. To use, remove the metal ashtray insert and snap this in in place. You can print this upright or upside down. Either way will require supports. I printed this one with the cupholders facing down which results in a rough surface in the bottom of the cupholders from the supports. If I printed it again I would print it upright so the supports are on the bottom where they would be invisible when the cupholder is installed. I printed this out of PLA. We'll see how it holds up to summer heat.
