Tailgate Trim Clip

Description

I got tired of replacing tailgate clips on my V70, so I made the decision to have 4 visible screws but no more rattling trim ! It requires cutting the face of the original mounting point (pic 2) and drilling 4 holes into the top of the trim (pic 3). If I remember correctly the center of the hole should be 12mm from the edge, but I'd recommend measuring yourself before drilling anything. I eyeballed and market the center of the original mounting holes before removing them, the clip does have a bit of side to side wiggle room to allow so it doesnt need crazy precision. This was done on a V70, might be different on an 850. The screw hole was made for M4 coarse thread screws (the kind you find all over those cars). Printed in PETG, on its side (pic4) so that the layers are perpendicular to the flexing point. As of posting (03/2023) they have only been installed for a few days, I cant vouch for durability yet.
