Sunroof Shade Slider
1997-2006 Bmw 3 Series E46
Description
This thing can fix the problem with part nr. 54 13 8 246 027 Instead of buying the "kinda expensive" set for sunroof fix, i have decided to print the broken piece and fix it on my own. Not perfect, without rubber ends, but it somehow fixes the problem with sunroof sliding of the rails. Use PET or ABS because of high temperature exposure. I just used the broken part, got rid of all the plastic part with pliers and replaced it with this print. Test fit it and before use, add a drop of some glue. !!!! Always put some grease into the rails for propper movement !!!! Links are not mine, just sharing Some explanations here -> http://www.lincomatic.com/e46sunroof/e46sunroof.html Video here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XlTqpxUJgs
Print Instructions
Standard FDM printing settings: - Layer height: 0.2mm - Infill: 70% - Supports: As needed
