Dome Light Cover
1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Description
These are two varieties of lens, diffuser or cover for the TJ dome light. I've done these up with TinkerCAD and however you see them, they aren't $30 a piece. I printed with Overture transparent PETG. Not as transparent as I would like, but good nuff. Printed at 100% infill. The dome one requires a lot of support material and finish is more rough. I use the puck variety myself. July 4 Update! I found my dome light covers, even if only temporarily, and can see my errors. The file 'JeepDomeLens(2).stl' is the latest model. So far, it hasn't fallen down in my jeep. July 16 Update! Found the last build was falling off, maybe from heat, maybe not. I've made some changes and pulled the dome light on my jeep so I could check the fit, so my final is JeepDomeLens(V3). I didn't redo the domed variety but that is easily dome in Tinkercad. Aug 02, 2025 I notice there is some noise in the music, from these, due to a loose fit. I've put a bit of foam between the mating surfaces until I can do more editing. (speaker makes em vibrate).
