Gauge Pod
2003-2008 Mazda Rx-8 S1
Description
I designed this gauge pod for my s1 Rx8, with ProSport EVO gauges. As with other gauge pods, this requires you to cut a hole in the plastic interior piece. If you have an Rx8 and a 3D printer, give it a go! -The gauge holes are 52.25mm in diameter -Took ~54 hours to print I highly recommend using a temperature resistant filament, as it gets hot in cars during the summer. Mine has held up fine for the few months it has been installed, but here it is winter. The pod is designed so the gauges perfectly face the driver (Left hand drive, if needed I can upload RHD version). I am 5'10", and I can see my reflection in them. This makes it so there is no awkward reflection from the sun, which is really nice. I can post more info if needed. Print Instructions
Standard FDM printing settings: - Layer height: 0.2mm - Infill: 70% - Supports: As needed
