Front License Plate Mount
2004-2009 Honda S2000 AP2
Description
Installs on OEM front bumper of AP2 S2000 (2004 and newer). I'm not sure of the fitment for AP1. Model has 20 degrees of backward tilt for cool factor :) It probably also helps with wind deflection. Choose either the half plate or the full plate. Half plate mount probably supports license plate enough, but it still might bend over time due to debris hitting it or wind damage. If the model scaling is weird, the width should be 220mm on both. Recommend using supports on the larger overhangs. Additional parts needed to install: - 3M VHB tape applied to top edge - 3x M6 25mm screws - 3x M6 nylon locking nuts (or regular nut + thread lock) - 3x M6 washers - (optionally) 2x M6 extra screws, nuts, and washers if using the full backing plate Install steps: 1. Attach 3M VHB tape to the top where it will contact the bumper (leave protective film on for now) 2. Use a screw to attach to the existing hole in the plastic grill. I used washers whenever a screw was contacting the PLA print (so it didn't crush as easily) 3. Remove red film on VHB tape and stick it to bumper 4. Install license plate
Print Instructions
Standard FDM printing settings: - Layer height: 0.2mm - Infill: 70% - Supports: As needed
