Description

A friend of mine broke the rear lid/trunk/hatch pull down on his C6 Corvette. He knows that I was an ME with an insatiable lust for re-engineering everything in my world. The original plate design that GM put in the model was terrible. I took to opportunity to redesign a conventional handle that picks up the original screw hole locations and uses the original screws. My friend loves it. It was printed with PLA but I would recommend ABS or PETG(+), if you can utilize these in your printer. I used the Cura Dynamic setting, used 50% tri-hex infill which produces a very strong part. The logo is embossed ~.5mm, and looks pretty good. Let me know if you have any questions, I can easily modify it for your customization needs. Thanks Update 12/5/25. Added a standoff for those that want to use this handle as a drawer pull. (many requests for this)
