Rear Bumper Mounting Clip
2014-2015 Chevrolet Camaro 5th Gen
Description
This is a model of the clip that holds the rear bumper of a 2014–2015 5th gen Camaro under the taillights. I made the classic mistake of breaking those clips when removing the bumper, so I remodeled it using the intact side and then mirrored it. The model is for the driver’s side — just mirror it for the passenger side. I recommend printing the whole thing and then cutting it with pliers to fit your damaged clips (see photos). Once cut to fit, I glued them to the remaining clip pieces using a mix of baking soda and super glue. This creates a strong, sandable material — add super glue to the joints, then sprinkle baking soda over it. I know it’s a common pain in the a.. for Camaro owners who pull off their rear bumper, so I hope this helps someone in the same situation as me.
