Trunk Liner Retainer Bracket
2015 Hyundai Genesis DH (G80)
Description
This is a replacement bracket for the trunk liner of a 2015 Hyundai Genesis "G80" "DH" sedan. It screws/rivets into the felted upper trim panel (85720-B1000-RRY), and holds a round clip that goes in the "roof" of the trunk area to keep the panel in place. There are two version: one for a 2.5mm gap in aftermarket clips, and one for a 1.5mm thick gap in OEM Hyundai clips (with a little "tail"). Note that the aftermarket clips don't work in the two openings closest to the back seat; they only stay clipped in the three or four openings closer to the trunk opening. Print with high infill and a heat-resistant plastic (like ABS). To install these, I recommend drilling out the original rivets and using computer fan screws to retain the new bracket. Of course, you can edit the FCStd file in FreeCAD to fit different clips or accept different screws/rivets. I have provided STEP CAD files for printing because modern slicers support them, and they directly reproduce curved surfaces unlike 3MF or STL.
