Description
Note that this model is in inches. This is a customized speaker mount adapter for a 2015 Kia Sportage. This is designed to fit 6.75 inch speakers. It was made using https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2924217. I had to add mount tabs to the outside edges. Since it is in inches you can either use the "Barbarian Units" plugin for Cura or you can scale the model by 2540% in your slicer. Update 7/8/18: This speaker ring as designed didn't quite work. I have redesigned it, and the new design now works. I've made it 1 inch thick and adjusted the mount screw spacing and rotated the mount tabs to be between the speaker screws. Also moved the wiring slot to a hole in the ring. It is a little small for terminals. I used #10x1/14 mount screws and #8x1 screws for the speaker. The screw holes as printed worked well.
