Camera Display Mount
2019 Ram 1500 (Warlock)
Description
*** Update: v2 includes thicker walls where the screw fits in. This means that a smaller screw head must be used, but is a lot more sturdy. Tested this past weekend and it works fine. -------------------------------------------------------------- This is a mount for a Haloview MC7108 wireless backup/observation camera. It uses the existing screws that hold the dash bezel in place on a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 (Warlock). *Note: This mount uses part of dashboard stick-on mount that originally came with the camera. To install: - From the Haloview sticky mount, remove the base piece with the sticker, by removing the 2 small Phillips head screws under the adhesive. - Attach the piece from the Haloview mount onto the printed mount using the original screws. - Remove the 2 screws in the pen/sunglasses cup above the center display screen. - Place the printed mount in the cup and reinstall the screws (do not over tighten). This may work for different camera displays (if they use the same sticky mount) or various trucks that have the same dashboard cup, I have no way of testing. Must use a heat resistant filament (e.g. PETG, ABS) to avoid melting, as this will likely be in direct sunlight within a hot vehicle.
Print Instructions
Standard FDM printing settings: - Layer height: 0.2mm - Infill: 70% - Supports: As needed
