Description
Pretty specific print. This provides a ball mount for a Garmin GPS, plus an HR Richter mount for a TST 507 TTPMS (Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor), the whole thing goes into the slot in the front of the console of a 2020 RAM 2500/3500 truck that is intended to hold phones/tablets. It's very tall because it's intended to hold the Garmin RV 890, which is 200mm tall (long side). Update: 12//7/2020, v13 Cleaned up the HR Richter tab sizing to match the TST 507. More work to do: The foot that keeps the mount from "falling" away from the dash needs to be extended and rotated; the HR Richter tab needs to be rotated and lowered. But close. Update 12/12/2020, v15 Good design, could use more upper strength (the Garmin RV 890 GPS is pretty heavy). Thinking about adding a better lower support to keep it from waving, and starting the transition faster from where it is held by the tablet holder on the truck to get it out of the way of the USB ports. But usable. The weird shape makes support a requirement, and the HR Richter tabs are sometimes touchy when printing and removing support material. Update 2/13/2021, v17 A bit stiffer, with better support. Added a "lock clip" that clips the base of the GPS mount to the rubber wall under the USB ports, gives the mount a lot more stability. It still wobbles a bit, the GPS is still heavy.
