Passenger-side Fuse Box Cover With Add-a-circuit Clearance

Use the built-in measurement tool to verify fit before downloading or ordering.

Description

This thing is an alternative cover for the passenger side fuse box in these Tundras under the glove box for when you want to add a fuse tap add-a-circuit for a dash cam or whatever. The OEM cover has zero clearance to the fuses so if you add a fuse tap the cover will not go back on. This one gives you that extra headroom you need, allows the wires to pass through, and preserves a cover and fuse map. This model will print without supports most of the time but if you find that the spring tab falls over and misprints try it with supports. Print the label in the Word file, trim it to fit how you like, then stick onto the new cover with some glue stick or whatever. I also gave it a skim coat of JB Weld clear epoxy in case the glue stick might break down due to heat over time. Use PETG or ABS for durability. Edit: to get more reliable prints without having to use supports, I modified the model to include 2 1mm strings that will hold the tab in place on either side to keep it from flopping over and ruining the print. This can happen with the original file depending on printer, material, random stuff... This new version eliminates some of those issues. After printing take a knife or small screwdriver and break the 2 strings on either side of the tab.
