Cup Holder Expander
2025 Ford Explorer (Platinum)
Description
Cupholder in the new car is just too small to fit the Yeti so I created this. I've uploaded the parametric SCAD so you can modify it to your liking (taper, length, height, OD, ID, chamfer, number of ribs, width of ribs, etc) and use it for your specific vehicle. Printed using .6 nozzle and both PETG and TPU 95A. Really like the TPU version. Don't use PLA as it will warp in the heat. I used 10% infill for the Bottom when using PETG and 30% for TPU (grippers in the cupholders can dent the TPU if not sturdy enough). Tested in a 2025 Explorer Platinum 3.0L, not sure about fitament in other vehicles. Post your remakes and compatibility in the comments! No supports needed Designed to fit this Yeti but can be modified to fit other water bottles https://www.yeti.com/drinkware/hydration/chug-bottle-26oz.html SCAD was created via ChatGPT over numerous iterations
Print Instructions
Standard FDM printing settings: - Layer height: 0.2mm - Infill: 70% - Supports: As needed
